Tuesday, June 05, 2012
Caroline McEleney, Head of Hospitality Sales, Manchester United FC is one of the latest speakers to be confirmed for Nordic Venue Forum 2012, in Oslo, 19-20 June 2012.
Manchester United FC is one of the world’s greatest football brands. But how does the Club ensure they are the best off the pitch too, delivering a hospitality experience to match?
At Nordic Venue Forum 2012, Caroline McEleney, Head of Hospitality Sales, Manchester United FC will join Session VII: The Red Carpet, to provide an insight into how Manchester United aims to exceed expectations for their corporate customers… and the lessons that venues in other markets can learn from their approach.
“I am looking forward to sharing United’s experiences with our colleagues from sports, performance, arts, culture and entertainment venues in the Nordic region,” comments Caroline.
“The club officially sold-out of all of its seasonal hospitality inventory in season 2011/2 so we have a great case study to share.”
“Venues are increasingly dependent on their premium seat and corporate clients,” explains Ian Nuttall, founder and chair, Nordic Venue Forum 2012. “But all too often, we under-invest in facilities, services and research on this valuable but highly demanding customer segment.”
“How can we better understand the corporate client? How do we reach – and exceed – the premium seat customer’s expectations?
“We’ll be exploring these questions, and more, at Nordic Venue Forum 2012. And we invite owners, the operators and the developers of major venues in the region to join us too!”
Bringing together both regional leaders and international experts, Nordic Venue Forum’s total focus is on driving revenues, diversifying content, growing audiences and delivering compelling visitor experiences.
Join us in Oslo for two days of discussions, site visits and peer-to-peer networking that will change your venue business forever.
About the speaker:
As Head of Hospitality Sales, Caroline McEleney is responsible for the sell-out of the stadium in all Executive Club seasonal facilities and Matchday VIP Hospitality. Caroline joined the business in October 2008 and has introduced a proactive culture to the sales function; recruited a strong, effective sales team encouraging them to source new business opportunities and has introduced new, innovative routes to market. This, in addition to the delivery of targeted marketing campaigns, has helped to sell out all seasonal inventory for season 2011/12. Caroline continues to recommend improvements to the hospitality facilities and product offering to maintain the ultimate goal of stadium sell out.- PreviousNext
